WELCOME !
to FIAT LUX, a semi-advanced literate warriors roleplay. Before joining, we suggest that you read over the rules so that you know what you're getting yourself into! We'd love to have you ♥
------------------------------
GENERAL !
I) the most important rule here at Fiat is to always respect other members. Remember to always treat others the way you would like to be treated. Treat all members fairly, kindly and equally. If you don't have something nice to say-- don't say it! If you really must tell someone something negative, please keep it off the site. Leave your drama at the door, so to speak! II) cussing around the site is most definitely allowed, (though not encouraged- you don't want your mouth washed out with soap!) but we would prefer it if you wouldn't use it towards someone out of character. III) chatspeak is possibly one of the most annoying things on earth if used incorrectly. Of course, the occasional LOL is fine, but PlZ dNT tlk LYK THis LoLOlOLolOL, L8r GuYZ, Y u BrB?! As you can see, it gets a bit obnoxious that way. IV) if you have a comment, concern or question-- you are always welcome to shoot a staff member a private message. We'll always be happy to help you out! V) It's always appreciated if you don't steal our work, character's from other members-- and all the graphics, ideas and words by other members. Please don't steal, always ask if you aren't sure if you can use something! VI) Accounts are limited to one per member. This roleplay is not one where you'll make separate accounts for each character-- so please be sure to keep all of your characters active and in order. Make a character log! Link them in your signature! Be creative, and organized c:
CHARACTERS !
I) it's always recommended that you've read at least one or two novels from Erin Hunter's series Warriors before you jump into a warrior roleplay-- but hey, if you haven't, just know your stuff. We'll post lots of information about the warrior code and good ways to name a warrior for your reference. II) be realistic. These cats are feral, and probably not amazingly well fed. If you don't have a reason for your cat to have perfect fur and a well-fed figure-- don't do it! III) make sure to pick a clan for your character based on their personality. It wouldn't make sense to have a cat who hates water in RiverClan, would it? IV) probably one of the most important parts of a character-- the name. There are many good sites out there that give you examples of acceptable and unacceptable warrior names, read here to learn about prefixes and suffixes.
ROLEPLAY !
I) Our posting minimal is 200 words. You must post that many per post, because we are semi-literate. We also want full sentences, good grammar and the works. Thank you! II) Don't be too... graphic. It's against proboards TOS, and we also really don't want to read it! Thank you in advanced. Kittens will need a breeding thread, but just end the thread before getting to that point and make a kitten request. III) Becoming a cat with status inside the clans can be done through roleplay and through out of character discussion. If a new leader needs to be implemented due to inactivity, staff will deal with it. If you roleplay a leader, you are allowed a say in who becomes deputy, medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice- but staff has the final say.
